Senior Planner – Projects (Norway)
We are looking for an experienced Senior Planner to join our construction and engineering projects in Norway. You will develop, monitor, and maintain project schedules, coordinate with teams, track progress, identify risks, and ensure projects are delivered on time and within scope. This is a key role where your planning skills directly contribute to project success.
What You’ll Do
You will create and maintain detailed project schedules, track progress, and report on delays or risks. You’ll coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure timelines are realistic and achievable, identify scheduling risks, and propose mitigation strategies. You will also manage planning tools, prepare reports, and support decision-making to keep projects on track.
Key responsibilities include:
Developing and maintaining detailed project schedules aligned with project objectives
Tracking progress, identifying delays, risks, and corrective actions
Coordinating across teams to ensure smooth execution
Using planning software to optimize timelines and resources
Preparing and presenting progress reports to stakeholders
Identifying risks and proposing mitigation strategies
Who We’re Looking For
You hold a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field. You have 7–10 years of experience in project planning, preferably in large-scale construction or infrastructure projects. You are analytical, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines. You are confident communicating schedules and progress, and can influence teams to meet project objectives.
Qualifications & Skills:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
7–10 years of experience in project planning
Strong knowledge of scheduling methodologies and construction workflows
Expertise in planning software and MS Office
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and leadership abilities
Fluent in English
