Lead Planner
We are looking for a skilled Lead Planner to develop, monitor, and maintain project schedules for construction and engineering projects in Norway. You will coordinate with project teams, manage resources, track progress, identify delays or risks, and report to stakeholders, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with objectives.
What You’ll Do
You will lead planning activities across multiple projects, creating detailed schedules, tracking progress, and identifying risks or delays. You will coordinate between multidisciplinary teams to ensure smooth execution and use advanced planning tools to optimize timelines and resource allocation. You will prepare progress reports, propose corrective actions, and support leadership in decision-making to achieve project goals.
Key responsibilities include:
Developing and maintaining detailed project schedules
Monitoring progress and identifying risks, delays, or issues
Coordinating teams to ensure seamless execution
Proposing risk mitigation strategies and schedule adjustments
Preparing and presenting progress reports to stakeholders
Utilizing planning software to optimize project timelines and resources
Influencing resource allocation and schedule adherence across teams and subcontractors
Who We’re Looking For
You hold a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field, and have 7–10 years of experience in project planning, preferably on large-scale construction or infrastructure projects. You have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines. You are a confident communicator and leader, capable of influencing and coordinating multidisciplinary teams.
Qualifications & Skills:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
7–10 years of experience in project planning for large-scale projects
Strong understanding of scheduling methodologies and construction workflows
Expertise in planning software and MS Office Suite
Fluency in English, written and spoken
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills
Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
