We are looking for a Purchaser to manage sourcing, supplier relations, and material procurement for construction projects. You will ensure timely delivery, cost efficiency, and compliance with project requirements.
What You’ll Do
You will coordinate procurement activities, manage suppliers, track inventory, support contract compliance, and provide reporting and analysis to project teams. You will collaborate across functions to ensure materials and services are delivered on time and according to quality standards.
Key responsibilities include:
Conduct market research, NDA and RFQ processes, and select suppliers based on price, quality, and reliability
Manage purchase orders, update procurement trackers, and follow up on supplier deliveries
Monitor inventory, coordinate logistics, and ensure timely stock replenishment
Verify materials and services meet design, contractual, and quality requirements
Maintain procurement records, write reports, analyze costs, and identify savings opportunities
Collaborate with project teams and support other functions with procurement-related tasks
Who We’re Looking For
You have a degree or diploma in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field. You have experience in procurement, preferably in construction, and are detail-oriented, organized, and proactive in managing suppliers and inventory.
Qualifications & Skills:
Familiarity with procurement processes, supply chain management, and construction materials
Basic understanding of contracts, logistics, and vendor management
Proficiency in procurement or inventory software and MS Office
Familiarity with project management tools is a plus
Fluency in English is mandatory; Norwegian is a plus
Experience Requirements
2+ years in procurement, preferably within construction projects
Experience managing suppliers, POs, and inventory tracking
Soft Skills
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
Effective communication and negotiation skills
Attention to detail and accuracy in order processing and record keeping
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
