We are seeking an experienced QAQC Lead to take overall responsibility for Quality Assurance and Quality Control across a large-scale data center construction project. The QAQC Lead is a key member of the project leadership team and is accountable for implementing the quality management system, ensuring compliance with project requirements, and achieving a controlled, audit-ready handover.

The role leads a multidisciplinary QAQC team, working closely with Construction, Commissioning, Engineering, and Client Quality teams.

Key Responsibilities

QAQC Leadership & Strategy

• Define and implement the Project Quality Management Plan (QMP) in line with company standards and client requirements

• Act as the primary point of contact for all quality-related matters on the project

• Promote a strong quality culture across construction and subcontractor teams

Team Leadership & Coordination

• Lead, manage, and support the QAQC team

• Set objectives, responsibilities, and performance expectations

• Ensure effective coordination between discipline QAQC leads and construction teams

Quality Control & Compliance

• Ensure compliance with project specifications, drawings, codes, and standards

• Oversee inspections, testing, and verification activities across all disciplines

• Review and approve Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs) and quality procedures

• Monitor non-conformances (NCRs), corrective actions, and close-out

Construction Completion & Handover

• Oversee construction completion, system walkdowns, and readiness for commissioning

• Coordinate quality inputs to MC, FC, and handover processes

• Ensure punch lists, as-built documentation, and turnover packages are complete and accurate

Documentation & Reporting

• Ensure robust quality documentation control, traceability, and audit readiness

• Oversee quality records, inspection reports, test results, and certification

• Provide regular quality reporting to project leadership and the client

Stakeholder Interface

• Act as the main QAQC interface with the Client, Consultants, and Third-Party Inspectors

• Support audits, factory acceptance tests (FATs), and regulatory inspections

• Work closely with Construction, Commissioning, Engineering, and HSE teams

Qualifications & Experience

• Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline

• Minimum 10+ years’ experience in QAQC roles on large construction projects

• Proven experience as a QAQC Lead or Quality Manager, preferably on data center, industrial, or mission-critical projects

• Strong understanding of CSA, MEP, and commissioning quality requirements

• Experience with ISO 9001-based quality management systems

• Strong leadership, coordination, and problem-solving skills

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities

• Fluent English required; Finnish skills are an advantage
