What You'll Do
You will own the HSE management system at country level, lead a team of HSE professionals, ensure compliance with local regulations and company standards, and drive continuous improvement in safety performance. You will be the senior HSE authority and advisor to country leadership.
Key responsibilities include:
• Set and lead the country HSE strategy, standards, and management system
• Ensure full compliance with local HSE regulations and authority requirements
• Lead, develop, and coordinate site HSE teams across all projects and facilities
• Drive a proactive safety culture and zero-incident mindset
• Oversee risk assessments, audits, inspections, and corrective actions
• Lead incident investigation, reporting, and lessons-learned processes
• Manage HSE training, competency, and awareness programs
• Report HSE performance and KPIs to country and group leadership
Who We're Looking For
You have a degree and recognized HSE qualifications (e.g., NEBOSH Diploma), with proven experience leading HSE at a senior/country level in construction, manufacturing, or industrial operations. You are a credible leader who sets the safety tone from the top.
Qualifications & Skills:
• Recognized HSE qualifications (e.g., NEBOSH Diploma, IOSH, or equivalent)
• Strong knowledge of local HSE regulations and international standards (ISO 45001 / 14001)
• Experience leading HSE across multiple sites and teams
• Experience in construction, manufacturing, or mission-critical projects is an advantage
• Fluency in English (written and spoken); Arabic is a plus
Experience Requirements
• Proven experience as an HSE Manager at country or senior multi-site level
• Track record of improving safety performance and building safety culture
• Experience managing regulatory compliance and authority relationships
