Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced QA/QC CSA Supervisor to support the successful delivery of a large-scale data center project. Reporting to the QA/QC Manager, the successful candidate will oversee daily quality assurance and quality control activities related to Civil, Structural, and Architectural (CSA) works, ensuring all construction activities are performed in accordance with project specifications, approved procedures, and applicable standards.
This hands-on site-based role requires strong technical knowledge, attention to detail, and the ability to coordinate effectively with construction teams, subcontractors, consultants, and client representatives to achieve the highest quality standards throughout project delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Site Quality Supervision
Supervise day-to-day QA/QC activities for all Civil, Structural, and Architectural works on site.
Coordinate inspections and testing activities with construction teams, subcontractors, consultants, and client representatives.
Ensure works are carried out in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, method statements, and Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs).
Monitor ongoing site activities to verify compliance with project quality requirements.
Inspection & Testing
Conduct and witness inspections for concrete works, structural steel, architectural finishes, waterproofing, façades, and other CSA-related activities.
Verify that materials delivered to site meet approved submittals and project specifications.
Coordinate testing activities and ensure results are properly documented and reviewed.
Ensure hold points, witness points, and quality checkpoints are implemented and signed off as required.
Quality Documentation & Reporting
Maintain accurate inspection records, test reports, checklists, and quality documentation.
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly QA/QC reports for project management.
Track quality performance metrics and support progress reporting.
Ensure quality documentation is maintained and compiled for project handover.
Non-Conformance Management
Identify quality issues, deficiencies, and non-conformances during construction activities.
Raise and monitor NCRs (Non-Conformance Reports) and ensure timely implementation of corrective and preventive actions.
Support root cause investigations and verification of close-out actions.
Escalate significant quality risks to QA/QC management when required.
Subcontractor Quality Management
Monitor subcontractor quality performance and compliance with project requirements.
Provide guidance and support to site teams regarding quality standards and inspection requirements.
Participate in subcontractor audits, toolbox talks, and quality awareness initiatives.
Promote a proactive quality culture across all CSA work packages.
Coordination & Stakeholder Management
Work closely with construction, engineering, HSE, commissioning, and project management teams.
Attend quality meetings, coordination meetings, and client inspections.
Support external audits conducted by clients, consultants, and regulatory authorities.
Ensure effective communication and resolution of quality-related issues across project stakeholders.
Qualifications & Experience
Essential
Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
Minimum 5 years of QA/QC experience on large-scale construction projects, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
Strong experience overseeing Civil, Structural, and Architectural works.
Proven experience on data center, mission-critical, industrial, commercial, or infrastructure projects.
Strong understanding of construction quality management systems and inspection processes.
Ability to interpret drawings, specifications, method statements, and quality documentation.
Experience managing inspections, testing activities, punch lists, and handover documentation.
Preferred
Data center or mission-critical project experience.
Familiarity with international quality standards and codes including ISO 9001, ASTM, ACI, AISC, BS, and EN standards.
Internal Auditor or Quality Management certification.
Experience working for a main contractor in a fast-paced construction environment.
