About the Job

We are seeking an experienced Project Purchaser / Procurement Manager to lead sourcing and purchasing activities on our data center construction site in Seinäjoki, Finland. You will ensure timely procurement of materials, equipment, and services at optimal cost, while building strong supplier relationships and supporting project delivery across the organization.

What You'll Do

You will manage daily purchasing activities, oversee supplier relationships, and negotiate contracts, pricing, and lead times. You will evaluate suppliers based on quality, reliability, technical capability, and availability, while maintaining accurate records and supplier databases.

You will continuously improve procurement systems and processes, develop purchasing policies, and define guidelines for tendering, quotations, and vendor selection. You will also support internal stakeholders and contribute to cross-functional initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Procurement & Purchasing Operations
Managing daily procurement and purchasing activities.

Contract Negotiation
Negotiating contracts, prices, timelines, and terms.

Supplier Relationship Management
Developing and maintaining supplier relationships. Evaluating suppliers based on quality, cost, and reliability.

Documentation & Records
Maintaining supplier databases and procurement documentation.

Process Improvement
Improving purchasing systems and processes. Defining procurement rules, guidelines, and sourcing strategies.

Stakeholder Support
Supporting internal teams and assigned projects.

Cost & Budget Management
Preparing cost estimates and managing budgets.

Who We're Looking For

You have strong experience in procurement or supply chain management and enjoy working in a structured, fast-paced environment. You are commercially minded, analytical, and confident in negotiations, with the ability to build long-term supplier partnerships.

Qualifications & Skills

Education
Degree in Business Administration or a related field.

Supply Chain Knowledge
Strong knowledge of inventory and supply chain management.

Experience
Experience in procurement, purchasing, or supplier management.

Software Skills
Proficiency in MS Office and purchasing systems.

Negotiation & Stakeholder Management
Strong negotiation and stakeholder management skills.

Language Skills
Very strong English and Finnish, written and spoken.

Organization & Planning
Strong planning, organization, and decision-making abilities.
