Electrical Package Manager - Site-based in Kvandal
Lead an electrical package on a major Kvandal project, coordinating design, suppliers and site teams to deliver safely, on schedule and ready for commissioning and handover.
Role purpose and reporting
Own the delivery of an assigned electrical package from design coordination and procurement through installation, testing, commissioning and handover. Lead subcontractors and suppliers to deliver reliable electrical systems in line with technical requirements, budgets, programme and safety obligations. Reports to the Project Director, with direct reports within the assigned package organisation.
Main responsibilities
Coordinate electrical package design, installation and commissioning against approved specifications, standards and project requirements.
Manage subcontractor and supplier delivery, aligning procurement, material availability, installation resources and work sequences with the programme.
Lead the package team and coordinate with Electrical Project Managers, Supervisors and other disciplines to resolve interfaces and maintain productive workfronts.
Inspect and monitor installation quality with QA/QC; reject nonconforming work or materials and drive corrective actions to closure.
Resolve technical and logistical issues during construction and commissioning, escalating matters requiring wider project decisions.
Maintain accurate package documentation and ensure compliance with applicable legal, technical and safety requirements.
Monitor package milestones, risks and cost implications; support change control and provide clear reporting to project leadership.
Coordinate testing and commissioning readiness and close out defects, records and handover deliverables for the assigned package.
Experience and qualifications
5–7 years of electrical management experience, preferably on large-scale construction projects.
Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or a related field.
Extensive knowledge of electrical power distribution, lighting and control systems, with familiarity with applicable local codes and safety requirements.
Experience with project management tools, design software and electrical modelling tools. BIM and construction management platforms are advantageous.
Hyperscale data centre or comparable mission-critical project experience is strongly preferred for Kvandal.
Fluent written and spoken English; strong leadership, organisation, problem-solving and stakeholder communication under tight deadlines.
