We’re looking for a newly graduated Hydraulic Engineer with a Master’s degree to join our Hydraulic Design Engineering team in Portugal. 🔧 What will you be doing?

Working alongside experienced hydraulic engineers, you’ll receive technical guidance and progressively develop your expertise through hands-on involvement in large-scale Data Center projects.

Your responsibilities will include:

• ⚙️ Hydraulic design: Support the design and specification of hydraulic systems, including domestic water, sewage and rainwater drainage, firefighting and fire suppression.

• 📐 Engineering calculations and drawings: Develop hydraulic calculations, 3D models and technical drawings using Revit with MagiCAD, as well as schematic drawings in AutoCAD.

• 🤝 Project coordination: Collaborate with senior engineers, architects, project managers and other engineering disciplines to ensure the effective integration of design solutions.

• 📄 Quality and compliance: Help ensure designs meet project requirements, applicable regulations and high standards of quality and safety, while using Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) to support project coordination and documentation.

The role focuses on hydraulic systems within large-scale Data Center buildings, excluding underground works outside the building footprint.

🎓 What are we looking for?

• 🎓 Education: Recently completed Master’s degree in Hydraulic Engineering, Civil Engineering or a related engineering field, with a relevant focus on hydraulics.

• 🌱 Experience: A newly graduated engineer ready to take their first professional step. No previous professional experience is required.

• 💧 Technical foundations: An academic understanding of hydraulic systems and a genuine interest in developing expertise in building services and Data Center infrastructure.

• 💻 Design tools: Familiarity with Revit, MagiCAD or AutoCAD is valued. Most importantly, you should be motivated to learn and develop your technical skills.

• 🧠 Personal skills: Analytical thinking, attention to detail, a proactive attitude and the ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary environment.
