Junior Sustainability Coordinator
Help improve the sustainability of a major data centre project in Finland, working with site teams to track progress, reduce impacts and build your career.
As an on-site Junior Environmental/Sustainability Coordinator, you will support the delivery of sustainability requirements on a live CTS Group data center construction site in Seinäjoki, Finland. You will work with the on-site Sustainability Coordinator, construction management team, package leads, procurement, Dublin based Sustainability Lead and the client team to support the implementation of project sustainability requirements into daily site activity, ensure requirements are met, and maintain audit-ready evidence from mobilization through handover.
The role is hands-on and delivery driven. You will help support the site processes for data capture, sustainable procurement evidence, and compliance tracking, and you will support the coordination of actions across multiple contractors and work packages. You will be responsible for supporting sustainability efforts and requirements across a multitude of disciplines and construction activities. Effective communication with a variety of project stakeholders, including but not limited to designers, engineers, contractors, suppliers, procurement specialists, and the health, safety, and environment (HSE) team will be key to this position.

Specifications and Compliance. Help support the implementation of Employer's Requirements and client standards into site controls; monitor compliance via site walks and audits; raise deviations early; and support in the implementation of corrective actions with package owners.
Reporting and Client Meetings. Support in the production of weekly and monthly sustainability updates covering KPIs, risks, issues, and decisions required; prepare meeting packs; present progress; and track actions to completion.
Construction-Stage Options. Identify opportunities to reduce impacts during construction (waste prevention, segregation, temporary power efficiency, logistics optimization, and low-impact materials); assess cost and program implications; and coordinate implementation.
