Electrical Site Manager

We are looking for a skilled Electrical Site Manager to lead the on-site delivery of all electrical works on a hyperscale data center project. You will ensure installation, testing, commissioning, and handover of mission-critical electrical systems are executed safely, on schedule, and to the highest quality standards. You will lead site teams, coordinate subcontractors, interface with clients and commissioning authorities, and maintain strict adherence to program, safety, and quality requirements.

What You’ll Do

You will manage daily electrical construction activities across multiple data halls and support spaces. You will coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers to meet program milestones, plan and sequence works to support phased energization, and ensure all works comply with IFC drawings, specifications, and approved methodologies. You will oversee installation of LV/MV systems, UPS, generators, busbar, switchgear, containment, and earthing systems, and ensure integration with mechanical, CSA, and controls packages.

Key responsibilities include:

• Managing day-to-day electrical construction activities and coordinating subcontractors

• Planning works to support phased energization and commissioning

• Reviewing technical submittals, method statements, and shop drawings

• Implementing QA/QC procedures and maintaining inspection and test documentation

• Leading toolbox talks, safety briefings, and enforcing HSE compliance

• Supporting commissioning activities including FAT, SAT, integrated systems testing, and energization

• Acting as the main electrical interface with clients, consultants, and commissioning teams

• Reporting progress, risks, and supporting commercial teams with validations and change management

Who We’re Looking For

You have a trade background or a Degree/HND in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline, with proven experience as an Electrical Site Manager or Supervisor on large-scale projects. Experience in data centers, mission-critical facilities, pharmaceutical, or high-tech industrial projects is essential, particularly on fast-track or phased energization projects. You understand electrical codes, standards, and commissioning processes and hold SMSTS/SSSTS or equivalent. You are an excellent communicator, coordinator, and leader, able to drive teams to deliver complex projects safely and efficiently.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Trade background or Degree/HND in Electrical Engineering

• Proven experience as Electrical Site Manager/Supervisor on large-scale projects

• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, codes, standards, and commissioning processes

• Experience with fast-track or phased energization projects

• SMSTS / SSSTS (or equivalent)

• Excellent leadership, coordination, and communication skills

• Hyperscale data center experience (Tier III / Tier IV) is a plus

• Experience managing multi-megawatt power systems and integrated testing
