Site Manager – Special Packages

We are looking for a skilled Site Manager – Special Packages to lead the on-site delivery, coordination, and integration of specialist systems on a hyperscale data center project. You will ensure all packages are installed safely, on schedule, and fully integrated with CSA and MEP systems to support phased energization, commissioning, and handover. You will manage multiple specialist subcontractors, coordinate vendors, and maintain high standards in a fast-track, mission-critical environment.

What You’ll Do

You will manage all special packages on site, including security systems (CCTV, access control, perimeter protection), BMS/EPMS integration, fire detection and suppression, ICT/structured cabling/fiber, AV and intelligent building systems, and vendor-installed white space systems. You will ensure scopes align with overall project responsibilities and contracts, and coordinate installation sequences to avoid clashes and support program milestones. You will act as the main interface between vendors, contractors, CSA teams, and commissioning agents, resolving scope gaps, overlaps, and design conflicts.

Key responsibilities include:

• Managing and coordinating all specialist vendor packages on site

• Acting as the primary interface between vendors, MEP contractors, CSA teams, and commissioning agents

• Planning and sequencing works to support phased energization and commissioning

• Monitoring schedule progress, reporting risks or delays, and coordinating vendor attendance

• Ensuring installations comply with specifications, IFC drawings, and standards

• Implementing QA/QC processes, managing inspections, testing, snagging, and punch lists

• Enforcing HSE standards and approving method statements and risk assessments

• Supporting FAT, SAT, integrated systems testing, and phased handovers

• Maintaining full documentation, O&M manuals, and certification for all packages

• Reporting progress and representing special packages in coordination and planning meetings

Who We’re Looking For

You have a trade background or Degree/HND in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field, and proven experience as a Site Manager or Package Manager on large-scale construction projects. You have experience managing vendor-led and specialist packages, ideally in data centers, mission-critical, high-tech, or pharmaceutical projects. You understand commissioning and system integration and hold SMSTS/SSSTS or equivalent. You are an excellent coordinator and communicator, able to manage stakeholders and ensure seamless delivery of complex systems.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Trade background or Degree/HND in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field

• Proven experience managing specialist/vendor packages on large-scale projects

• Strong knowledge of commissioning, system integration, and MEP interfaces

• Experience in data centers, mission-critical, or high-tech projects

• SMSTS / SSSTS (or equivalent)

• Excellent coordination, communication, and stakeholder management skills

• Hyperscale data center experience (Tier III / Tier IV) is a plus

• Experience with fast-track, phased energization, and global technology providers
