The Role
We are seeking an experienced Campus HSE Senior Manager to lead all health, safety, and environmental (HSE) activities across a large-scale data center campus project. This leadership role is responsible for establishing and enforcing a world-class safety culture, ensuring compliance, and driving continuous improvement across multiple concurrent builds.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and implement the campus-wide HSE strategy across all project phases
Manage and oversee a team of site-based HSE managers and advisors
Act as the primary HSE interface with client, subcontractors, and regulatory authorities
Ensure full compliance with local legislation, client standards, and industry best practices
Develop, monitor, and report on HSE performance metrics, KPIs, and audits
Promote a strong behavior-based safety culture and proactive risk management
Lead incident investigations and ensure effective root cause analysis and corrective actions
Review method statements, risk assessments, and safe systems of work (RAMS)
Conduct regular site inspections, audits, and leadership safety walks
Coordinate emergency preparedness planning and response procedures
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to reduce risk and improve safety outcomes
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, or related field
10+ years of HSE experience, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role
Proven experience on large-scale construction projects, ideally data centers or mission-critical environments
Strong knowledge of construction HSE risks, including high-risk activities (lifting, electrical, confined space, etc.)
Demonstrated ability to lead multi-site or campus-level safety operations
Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
Experience working with international clients and complex contractor ecosystems
Relevant certifications (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH, ISO 45001 Lead Auditor or equivalent)
Preferred Qualifications
Previous experience in hyperscale data center campus developments
Familiarity with EH&S standards from major tech clients
Experience implementing digital HSE reporting tools and systems
Knowledge of environmental management and sustainability practices
