About CTS Group
CTS Group is a leading international design, engineering, manufacturing, construction, and digital infrastructure company specializing in the delivery of data centre infrastructure throughout Europe, the Middle East, and Africa.
CTS delivers fully integrated turnkey solutions spanning feasibility studies, design, engineering, off-site manufacturing, modular construction, digital engineering, testing & commissioning, and operational readiness. Through its highly integrated delivery model and advanced manufacturing capability, CTS enables clients to deliver data centres faster, at lower overall project cost, with superior engineering quality, improved certainty of delivery, and enhanced operational performance.
As CTS continues its expansion across Europe and beyond, we are seeking an experienced Senior Business Development Manager to strengthen relationships with the industry’s leading data centre developers, operators, consultants, investors, technology partners, and strategic stakeholders.
About the Role
The Senior Business Development Manager serves as one of CTS’s principal technical ambassadors to the European data centre industry.
This is not a traditional sales or commercial role.
Instead, the position focuses on developing trusted relationships with senior client organisations, consultants, technology partners, OEMs, investors, and other market stakeholders by demonstrating CTS’s engineering excellence, integrated delivery capability, and ability to solve complex project delivery challenges.
The successful candidate will engage with executive leadership, engineering teams, programme directors, and technical decision-makers throughout the project lifecycle, positioning CTS as the preferred engineering and delivery partner for data centre be they colocation, cloud service or AI factories.
Drawing upon a strong engineering background and extensive industry experience, the Senior Business Development Manager will help clients understand how CTS’s integrated approach—including design, engineering, off-site manufacturing, modularisation, digital engineering, testing & commissioning, and project delivery—creates measurable advantages in quality, speed, certainty, and value.
This role requires exceptional technical credibility, commercial awareness, and relationship management skills, combined with a deep understanding of the data centre industry and its evolving technical and operational challenges.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Client Engagement

Engage regularly with consultants, engineering practices, developers, investors, contractors, and infrastructure stakeholders to strengthen CTS’s market presence.
Build relationships based upon technical excellence, delivery capability, and long-term strategic value rather than transactional opportunities.
Utilize personal and CTS group knowledge and engineering excellence to identify and successfully drive data centre project business to CTS.
Take both an account based and a territory based approach to opportunity identification, development and execution.
Technical Business Development
Promote CTS’s integrated engineering, manufacturing, construction, commissioning, and digital delivery capabilities across the European market.
Demonstrate the advantages of CTS’s integrated delivery model, including accelerated design programmes, superior engineering standards, reduced project risk, modularisation, and factory-based delivery.
Support clients in evaluating engineering strategies, delivery methodologies, procurement approaches, constructability, modularisation, commissioning strategies, and programme optimisation.
Provide high-level technical guidance during early project planning and feasibility discussions.
Position CTS as an advisor capable of supporting complex engineering and programme delivery challenges.
Market Development
Identify emerging market trends, investment activity, and infrastructure opportunities throughout the European data centre sector.

Represent CTS at conferences, technical forums, industry events, executive roundtables, and client workshops.
Continuously strengthen CTS’s reputation as a market leader in integrated data centre delivery.
Client Support
Act as a trusted advisor to clients throughout the early stages of project development.
Help clients understand how CTS’s engineering capability can reduce programme duration, improve technical quality, minimise project risk, and optimise lifecycle value.

Share market intelligence to support business planning, product development, and future capability expansion.
Industry Leadership
Maintain a comprehensive understanding of developments within the data centre, energy, digital infrastructure, and mission-critical industries.
Develop strong working relationships with major equipment manufacturers, technology partners, engineering consultants, and strategic suppliers.
Promote collaboration across the wider data centre ecosystem to support successful project outcomes.
Act as a respected industry representative for CTS within the European market.
