About the Role
We are looking for a highly organised and proactive HR Administrator to support our growing operations in Norway. This role is ideal for an HR professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about delivering excellent people and administrative support.
Reporting to the CEO and Group HR Manager, the HR Administrator will provide day-to-day HR and administrative support across the business, ensuring employees receive a positive experience throughout their employment lifecycle. The successful candidate will play a key role in recruitment, onboarding, employee records management, compliance, and general office administration.
Key Responsibilities
HR Administration
Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and HR databases.
Prepare employment contracts, letters, and other HR documentation.
Support employee lifecycle activities including onboarding, transfers, and offboarding.
Ensure employee files are maintained in accordance with company policies and data protection requirements.
Recruitment & Onboarding
Coordinate recruitment activities, including job advertisements, interview scheduling, and candidate communications.
Liaise with recruitment agencies and hiring managers throughout the recruitment process.
Support onboarding programmes and ensure all new starters are effectively integrated into the business.
Assist with workforce planning and talent acquisition activities.
Employee Support
Act as a first point of contact for employee HR queries.
Assist in promoting a positive workplace culture and employee engagement.
Support employee development initiatives, training coordination, and performance review processes.
Provide administrative support for employee relations matters when required.
Compliance & Reporting
Ensure HR processes comply with local employment legislation and company policies.
Maintain HR reporting and support audit requirements.
Assist with policy updates and communication of HR initiatives.
Support compliance activities relating to employment, training, and workforce documentation.
Office & Administrative Support
Support day-to-day office administration and coordination tasks.
Liaise with external suppliers, training providers, and service vendors.
Coordinate meetings, training sessions, and employee events.
Support general business administration activities as required.
What We're Looking For
Qualifications
Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
HR qualifications or certifications are advantageous.
Experience
Minimum 2-4 years' experience in an HR administration, HR coordinator, or similar role.
Experience supporting recruitment and onboarding processes.
Familiarity with HR systems and employee records management.
Experience working in construction, engineering, or project-based environments is advantageous.
Technical Skills
Good knowledge of HR administration processes and employment practices.
Experience working with HR systems and databases.
Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Ability to maintain confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
Fluent English, both written and spoken.
