Role Overview
CTS Group is strengthening its CEO Office to support the Group’s continued international expansion and strategic development.
We are looking for a Senior Strategy & Corporate Development Manager to join our CEO Office Strategy team, in order to support high-priority initiatives across strategy, investment, market development and corporate development.
This is a hands-on role for someone who can structure complex questions, build rigorous analysis and translate it into clear recommendations for senior leadership. The scope will range from new market entry and strategic partnerships to joint ventures, business planning, investment cases and special projects.
The role combines the analytical rigour of management consulting with the opportunity to work directly inside a fast-growing international business and see strategic decisions move into execution.
Key Responsibilities
Strategy and market analysis
Analyse existing and new markets to support CTS’s growth priorities.
Conduct market sizing, competitive analysis, benchmarking and geographic assessments.
Assess strategic opportunities across countries, clients, sectors and new business areas.
Identify relevant market trends, risks and developments and translate them into implications for CTS.
Structure ambiguous strategic questions and develop clear, fact-based recommendations.
Support development of Group, country and business-unit strategic initiatives.
Investment and business case development
Build financial models supporting investment decisions, business plans and strategic projects.
Develop P&L, cash flow, sensitivity and investment-return analyses.
Assess the financial and strategic attractiveness of new ventures, partnerships and investment opportunities.
Support feasibility studies for new countries, activities and business models.
Work with Finance and business leaders to challenge assumptions and ensure investment cases are based on realistic operational and commercial inputs.
Support the preparation of recommendations for senior leadership and investment decisions.
Corporate development and strategic projects
Support new-country entry, joint ventures, strategic partnerships and other Group development initiatives.
Contribute to due diligence, partner assessments and transaction-related workstreams.
Develop business plans, governance structures and supporting materials for new ventures.
Own defined analysis modules and project workstreams, managing timelines and deliverables independently.
Coordinate inputs from internal teams and external advisers.
Track key actions, dependencies and risks and ensure issues are escalated early.
Executive and Board decision support
Prepare concise, high-quality materials for the CEO, Executive Committee, Board, investors and strategic partners.
Turn complex financial, operational and market information into clear decision-ready narratives.
Prepare strategic memos, business cases, presentations and briefing materials.
Support senior team members in preparing for important internal and external discussions.
Ensure analysis is accurate, well structured and focused on the decisions required.
Follow up on agreed actions to help ensure strategic decisions move into execution.
Stakeholder coordination and execution
Work across Countries, Business Divisions and Corporate Functions to gather information and progress strategic initiatives.
Build effective working relationships with senior leaders and operational teams across the Group.
Coordinate multiple stakeholders around common timelines and deliverables.
Translate meetings and strategic discussions into structured action plans and follow-up.
Challenge assumptions constructively and ensure decisions are supported by the relevant facts.
Help maintain momentum on strategic initiatives after the initial analysis or decision has been completed.
Experience and Qualifications
Minimum 12 years of total professional experience, including at least 5 years in top-tier management consulting, strategy, corporate finance or a comparable analytical environment.
Strong track record of structuring complex or ambiguous business problems and translating analysis into practical recommendations.
Experience in strategy, corporate development, investments, infrastructure, industrials or complex project-based businesses.
Strong financial modelling capability, including P&L, cash flow, investment cases and sensitivity analysis.
Merger & Acquisition experience
Experience preparing executive-level presentations and decision materials.
Exposure to market entry, joint ventures, strategic partnerships, transactions or investment analysis is advantageous.
Experience in data centres, infrastructure, energy, engineering or industrial sectors is advantageous.
Engineering or another technical background is particularly relevant.
Strong university degree from a recognised institution.
Fluent English required.
International experience and willingness to travel.
Skills and Personal Attributes
You combine analytical rigour with commercial judgement. You are comfortable working with incomplete information, structuring complex problems and determining what really matters for a decision.
You communicate clearly and concisely, whether through a financial model, a strategy memo or an Executive presentation. You are comfortable working with senior stakeholders but equally willing to go into the detail required to understand the underlying business.
You take ownership of your work, manage timelines independently and follow actions through to completion. You are proactive, curious and comfortable challenging assumptions when the facts do not support them.
You work effectively in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial and international environment and are motivated by seeing analysis translated into real business decisions and execution.
What Success Looks Like
CTS leadership receives clear, rigorous and timely analysis that improves strategic decision-making.
New-market, investment and partnership decisions are supported by robust business cases. Strategic projects move forward with clear ownership and follow-through. Executive and Board discussions are supported by concise, decision-ready materials.
The Strategy & Investment team becomes a trusted part of the CEO Office — helping the Group identify where to grow, assess how to grow and turn strategic ambition into executable initiatives.
