We are currently seeking a Mechanical Supervisor to join our growing team in Kouvola, Finland. This role offers an exciting opportunity for a hands-on professional to take ownership of mechanical site activities on a major data center project.

Role Overview

The Mechanical Supervisor will be responsible for the day-to-day supervision of mechanical installations on site, ensuring compliance with design documents, specifications, and safety standards. You will coordinate subcontractors, monitor progress, and support quality and safety enforcement to achieve timely, high-quality delivery of mechanical systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and monitor all mechanical installations to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and safety standards.
• Coordinate daily with mechanical subcontractors on planning, access, sequencing, and resource allocation to ensure efficient execution and avoid workfront clashes.
• Track progress against short-term plans, identify deviations or delays, and report issues to the Mechanical Package Manager. 
• Conduct visual inspections, monitor workmanship, and flag quality issues early.
• Support QA/QC teams with inspections, redlining, and documentation.
• Coordinate with civil, structural, electrical, and commissioning teams to manage interfaces and ensure area readiness.
• Support the implementation of project HSE policies and intervene in unsafe practices or conditions within the mechanical scope.

Qualifications & Experience

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Building Services, or related discipline.
• 5+ years' experience supervising mechanical construction activities, ideally in industrial or large-scale building environments
• Experience with HVAC, piping, drainage, and plant installations
• Data center experience is a strong advantage
• Solid understanding of mechanical systems installation and sequencing in a construction setting
• Familiarity with ductwork, pipework, insulation, and air handling systems
• Knowledge of site safety practices and coordination principles
• Proficient in MS Office; experience with digital construction tools is a plus
• Fluent in English (written and spoken); Finnish language skills are an advantage
