We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Project Manager to manage and deliver the mechanical scope on a large-scale data center construction project. Reporting to the Mechanical Lead, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and controlling mechanical works to meet project safety, quality, schedule, and cost objectives.

You will lead and coordinate a site-based mechanical team, working closely with construction, commissioning, QAQC, and commercial teams.

Key Responsibilities

Mechanical Delivery & Coordination

• Manage day-to-day delivery of the mechanical scope, including CWP, plumbing, and HVAC systems

• Ensure mechanical works are executed in line with project specifications, drawings, and schedule

• Coordinate mechanical activities with CSA, Electrical, Logistics, and Commissioning teams

Team Leadership

• Lead, manage, and support the mechanical team

• Set clear objectives, responsibilities, and performance expectations

• Ensure adequate supervision and safe execution of works

Planning & Interface Management

• Develop and manage short- and medium-term mechanical construction plans

• Resolve technical, sequencing, and interface issues across disciplines

• Support constructability reviews and method statement development

Safety, Quality & Compliance

• Ensure compliance with HSE requirements, permits, and project safety standards

• Work closely with QAQC to implement ITPs, inspections, and testing

• Ensure mechanical installations meet quality and commissioning readiness requirements

Commercial & Progress Control

• Support cost control, progress tracking, and variation management for mechanical works

• Coordinate with procurement and subcontractors on deliveries and scope execution

Handover & Commissioning Support

• Coordinate mechanical completion, punch list closure, and documentation

• Support mechanical systems handover and commissioning activities

Qualifications & Experience

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline

• Minimum 8+ years’ experience in mechanical project delivery within construction

• Proven experience as a Mechanical Project Manager or Senior Mechanical Engineer on large-scale projects

• Strong knowledge of CWP, plumbing, and HVAC systems, ideally in data center or mission-critical environments

• Experience managing multi-disciplinary mechanical teams and subcontractors

• Strong leadership, planning, and coordination skills

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities

• Fluent English required; Finnish skills are an advantage
