We are seeking an experienced Electrical Lead to take overall responsibility for the delivery of the electrical scope on a large-scale data center construction project. The Electrical Lead is a key member of the project leadership team and is accountable for safety, quality, schedule, cost, and technical compliance of all electrical works.

The role leads a multidisciplinary electrical organization including, and works closely with CSA, Mechanical, Commissioning, QAQC, and HSE teams.

Key Responsibilities

Electrical Leadership & Strategy

• Overall ownership of electrical scope delivery from installation through testing, commissioning, and handover

• Define and implement electrical execution strategies aligned with project objectives

• Act as the primary escalation point for all electrical matters

Team Leadership & Coordination

• Lead, manage, and support the electrical team:

• Set clear objectives, responsibilities, and performance expectations

• Ensure strong coordination between electrical sub-disciplines

Planning & Interface Management

• Oversee electrical construction planning, sequencing, and phasing

• Manage interfaces between electrical, mechanical, CSA, logistics, and commissioning

• Resolve technical, access, and program constraints on a live site

Safety, Quality & Compliance

• Ensure all electrical works comply with HSE requirements, permits, and safe systems of work

• Drive electrical quality standards in coordination with QAQC

• Ensure compliance with specifications, codes, standards, and client requirements

Commercial & Progress Control

• Support cost control, progress measurement, and variation management for electrical works

• Coordinate with procurement and subcontractors to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment

Testing, Commissioning & Handover

• Oversee electrical completion, testing, energization readiness, and handover activities

• Coordinate closely with commissioning teams to ensure safe and structured energization

• Ensure documentation, as-builts, and turnover packages are complete and accurate

Qualifications & Experience

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline

• Minimum 10+ years’ experience in electrical delivery on large construction projects

• Proven experience as an Electrical Lead / Electrical Manager, preferably on data center or mission-critical projects

• Strong knowledge of HV/MV systems, LV distribution, busbar, containment, grounding, and integration systems

• Experience managing complex electrical teams and subcontractors

• Strong leadership, planning, and problem-solving skills

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities

• Fluent English required; Finnish skills are an advantage
