Electrical Construction Manager

We are a growing general contractor delivering large-scale data center construction projects across Finland. We are now seeking an experienced Electrical Construction Manager to lead and manage all electrical works on high‑value, mission‑critical projects.
In this role, you will be responsible for planning, coordination, execution, and commissioning of electrical systems, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage electrical construction activities on data center projects from installation through commissioning and handover
Coordinate electrical subcontractors, suppliers, consultants, and internal teams
Review electrical designs, specifications, and method statements to ensure constructability and compliance
Develop and manage electrical schedules, workforce planning, and material procurement
Oversee installation of:
MV/LV distribution systems
UPS and battery systems
Generators and power quality systems
Grounding, bonding, and lightning protection
BMS / EPMS interfaces
Ensure compliance with:
Finnish regulations and electrical codes
Client requirements and industry standards
Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) requirements
Monitor cost control, variation management, and progress reporting for electrical scopes
Support testing, commissioning, and integrated systems testing
Participate in coordination meetings with the client and internal project management teams
Requirements
Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
5+ years experience in electrical construction management, preferably on:
Data centers
Industrial or mission‑critical facilities
Large commercial or infrastructure projects
Strong knowledge of electrical power systems and critical infrastructure
Proven experience managing subcontractors and site teams
Solid understanding of project schedules, budgets, and cost control
Fluent professional English required; Finnish is a strong advantage
Valid right to work in Finland
Desired / Advantageous
Previous experience on hyperscale or colocation data center projects
Good knowledge of Finnish electrical regulations and construction practices
Experience with commissioning and integrated testing
Finnish safety certifications (e.g. Työturvallisuuskortti, Sähkötyöturvallisuuskortti)
Experience working in fast-paced, multi-phase construction environments
