We are seeking an experienced EHS / Compliance Officer to support the delivery of large-scale data center construction projects in Finland. This role plays a key part in ensuring full compliance with Finnish EHS legislation, client requirements, and internal standards.

Key Responsibilities

• EHS Compliance & Governance. Ensure compliance with Finnish occupational safety, health, and environmental legislation. Monitor adherence to client, project, and company EHS policies and procedures. Maintain and update EHS documentation, registers, and compliance records. Support audits, inspections, and regulatory reviews.

• Regulatory Interface. Act as a key point of contact with local authorities and inspectors. Support permitting, reporting, and compliance submissions as required. Track regulatory changes and ensure timely implementation onsite.

• Site Support & Monitoring. Support site teams in implementing compliant work practices. Participate in site inspections, audits, and EHS reviews. Support incident reporting, investigations, and corrective actions.

• Reporting & Data Management. Support EHS reporting, KPIs, and compliance metrics. Ensure accuracy, traceability, and timely submission of EHS data. Assist in continuous improvement of EHS systems and processes.

• Collaboration. Work closely with the Senior HSE Manager, Safety Officers, and Environmental team. Support project management and subcontractors with compliance guidance. Promote awareness of EHS obligations and best practices.

Qualifications & Experience

• Relevant qualification in EHS, Occupational Safety, Environmental Management, or related field

• Experience in an EHS or compliance role within construction or industrial projects

• Strong knowledge of Finnish EHS legislation and regulatory processes

• Experience supporting audits, inspections, and authority interactions

• Structured, detail-oriented, and process-driven approach

• Strong communication skills and confidence working with multiple stakeholders

• Fluent Finnish and English required
