We are now seeking an experienced Electrical Lead to join our team for a major data center development.

As the Electrical Lead, you will oversee all electrical workstreams for the project and serve as the primary point of coordination between CTS, electrical subcontractors, design teams, and the client's technical representatives. This role is responsible for ensuring electrical installations meet project specifications, schedule, quality, and safety requirements.

You will play a central role in driving delivery across critical systems such as MV/LV distribution, UPS, generators, grounding systems, busways, and all supporting electrical infrastructure essential for a high-availability data center environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all electrical construction activities from planning through to commissioning

• Review electrical drawings, specifications, and submittals to ensure alignment with project requirements

• Coordinate daily with MEP leads, commissioning teams, and subcontractors to maintain progress and quality

• Drive installation sequencing, lookahead planning, and schedule adherence across electrical work packages

• Oversee testing, inspection, and commissioning processes, ensuring documentation is complete and accurate

• Enforce CTS Group's safety standards and ensure electrical teams maintain a safe work environment

• Support procurement of equipment and materials; review vendor packages and technical submissions

• Identify risks, interface issues, and design conflicts; propose and implement solutions proactively

• Lead technical meetings and report progress to project management and the client

• Ensure all electrical installations meet relevant codes and industry best practices

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent technical background

• Minimum 5-10 years of experience in electrical construction, preferably within data centers, industrial, or mission-critical environments

• Strong technical knowledge of MV/LV power distribution, UPS systems, generators, controls, grounding, and testing/commissioning processes

• Proven experience coordinating subcontractors on large-scale projects

• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, schedule-driven environment

• Strong communication and leadership abilities

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with hyperscale data center construction and high-availability electrical systems

• Knowledge of international and local electrical standards and data center design guidelines

• Ability to interpret complex engineering drawings and specifications

• Familiarity with digital construction tools (BIM, ACC, etc.)
