Role Overview
We are seeking an accomplished Project Director to lead the end-to-end delivery of a complex data centre construction project. This senior leadership role will oversee all phases of the project lifecycle from pre-construction and design coordination to commissioning and handover, ensuring timely, cost-effective, and high-quality delivery in a mission-critical environment.

Key Responsibilities
Provide strategic leadership and overall direction for the data centre construction project.
Oversee project planning, design reviews, procurement, execution, and commissioning.
Act as the primary point of contact for the client, ensuring expectations are met or exceeded.
Ensure compliance with project specifications, contractual obligations, health and safety regulations, and industry standards.
Manage budgets, cash flow, and cost control across all phases of the project.
Monitor progress against the project program, resolving any issues that threaten project delivery.
Oversee risk management, quality assurance, and change management processes.
Lead regular site and client meetings; provide high-level reporting to senior management and stakeholders.
Ensure proper resource allocation, workforce planning, and performance monitoring.
Champion a strong safety culture on-site, ensuring zero harm and full regulatory compliance.
Schedule and chair weekly meetings with your team, the Design team, and the Client.
Attend and actively contribute to EHS and QA meetings.
Attend the Morning Whiteboard evening schedule meetings.
All other duties associated with the role.
Required Skills and Experience
Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
15+ years of experience in construction project management, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role on data centre or mission-critical projects.
Proven track record delivering large-scale, complex projects (over €100M / $100M in value).
Deep knowledge of data centre infrastructure, including MEP, structural, civil, commissioning, and IT integration.
Exceptional leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
Experience working with hyperscale or colocation clients is highly desirable.
Engineer or PMP certification is an advantage.
