The Role

We are seeking an experienced QA/QC Electrical Manager to oversee all electrical quality assurance and quality control activities on a major data center project. This role ensures that all electrical systems are installed, tested, and commissioned in line with project specifications, industry standards, and client expectations.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement the Electrical QA/QC strategy and inspection plans

• Oversee all electrical installations, ensuring compliance with drawings, specifications, and standards

• Manage and coordinate inspection and test plans (ITPs), checklists, and quality documentation

• Lead electrical quality inspections across key systems including:

  • Power distribution (MV/LV)

  • UPS systems

  • Generators

  • Switchgear and transformers

  • Cabling and containment

• Ensure proper execution of testing and commissioning (T&C) activities

• Coordinate with subcontractors, consultants, and commissioning teams

• Review and approve technical submittals, method statements, and shop drawings

• Track and close non-conformances (NCRs) and implement corrective actions

• Maintain comprehensive quality records and turnover documentation

• Support client inspections and ensure successful system handover and acceptance

• Promote a culture of quality excellence and continuous improvement

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field

• 8+ years of experience in electrical QA/QC or project engineering, preferably in data centers or mission-critical environments

• Strong knowledge of electrical systems and installation practices

• Experience with testing & commissioning of critical electrical infrastructure

• Familiarity with international standards and codes (IEC, ISO, etc.)

• Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications

• Experience working with general contractors and specialist MEP subcontractors

• Strong attention to detail and documentation control

• Excellent communication and coordination skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience on hyperscale data center projects

• Knowledge of commissioning processes and integrated systems testing (IST)

• Experience with quality management systems (ISO 9001)

• Familiarity with digital QA/QC tools and snagging platforms
