The Role

We are seeking an experienced Handover Electrical Engineer to support the completion, turnover, and handover of all electrical systems on a large-scale data center project. This role ensures that systems are fully installed, tested, documented, and approved in line with client and project requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the handover and system completion process for all electrical scope

• Coordinate systemization and turnover of electrical systems, including:

  • LV/MV/HV distribution systems

  • Switchgear and transformers

  • UPS systems and battery installations

  • Generator systems and interfaces

  • Cable installations, terminations, and containment

• Conduct detailed system walkdowns and inspections to verify completeness and quality

• Manage and track punch lists / snagging activities, ensuring timely resolution

• Ensure all electrical systems meet design specifications, standards, and client requirements

• Compile and review handover documentation, including:

  • As-built drawings

  • Test results and commissioning records

  • O&M manuals and asset registers

• Coordinate with QA/QC, construction, and commissioning teams to ensure Electrical Mechanical Completion (MC) readiness

• Support energization planning, inspections, and client approvals

• Assist in client witness testing, inspections, and final system acceptance

• Track system completion progress and support key handover milestones

• Maintain accurate records within digital completion / turnover platforms

• Support closure of deficiencies, NCRs, and outstanding works

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field

• 5+ years of experience in electrical engineering, QA/QC, commissioning, or construction delivery

• Experience with system completion, handover, or commissioning processes

• Strong understanding of electrical systems in mission-critical environments

• Experience in data center or similar critical infrastructure projects is strongly preferred

• Familiarity with Mechanical Completion (MC), energization, and commissioning readiness processes

• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and specifications

• Strong attention to detail and documentation control

• Experience working with multiple subcontractors and stakeholders

• Strong communication and coordination skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience on hyperscale data center projects

• Knowledge of commissioning levels (L1–L5) and Integrated Systems Testing (IST)

• Familiarity with energization procedures and LOTO coordination

• Experience with digital turnover tools

• Background in QA/QC or commissioning roles
