Electrical Supervisor - Site-based in Kvandal
Lead electrical installation on a major Kvandal project, coordinating crews and subcontractors to deliver safe, high-quality work ready for commissioning and handover.
Role purpose and reporting
Oversee day-to-day electrical installation within assigned areas or systems, ensuring that work meets design, safety and quality requirements. Coordinate crews and subcontractors, track progress and prepare completed work for structured handover. Reports to the Electrical Package Manager, with direct supervision of designated electrical teams and subcontractor workfronts.
Main responsibilities
Supervise electrical installation, including containment, cable routing, grounding, switchgear, cabling and terminations within the assigned scope.
Coordinate subcontractors and establish safe, productive workfronts with the required access, materials, information and task sequencing.
Track daily progress against short-term plans; report constraints, resource needs, risks and delays to the Electrical Package Manager.
Check installation against approved drawings and specifications; identify defects early and coordinate corrections with QA/QC.
Coordinate with MEP, civil and structural teams and commissioning to achieve phased system completion and handover.
Enforce HSE requirements and electrical safety controls, including lockout/tagout, applicable permits and toolbox talks within delegated authority.
Experience and qualifications
At least 5 years of electrical supervision experience on large construction projects.
Experience with high- and low-voltage systems, switchgear, containment, cable installation and terminations.
Technical diploma or degree in electrical engineering, building services or a related field. An electrical qualification valid in Norway is an advantage.
Understanding of installation and testing sequences in mission-critical environments. Data centre, industrial or critical infrastructure experience is strongly preferred.
Working knowledge of Norwegian electrical standards and safety codes is an advantage. Basic MS Office skills; digital field tools experience is beneficial.
Fluent written and spoken English; clear communication, practical problem-solving and a calm, hands-on approach under pressure.
